Big Boss 5 winner Juhi Parmar

  Telly Star Juhi Parmar has finally been announced as the winner of Bigg Boss Season five hosted by Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt The grand finale of the show was much expected and a mega event with Rakhi Sawant, Mallaika Arora Khan, Sunny Leone and many others performing on the stage. Karan Johar and Imran Khan too had come in to promote their film ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’.

The three finalists of the show were Mahek Chahel, Akashdeep Sehgal aka Sky, and Juhi Parmar. While MTV vj Siddharth Bhardawaj came in fourth, Amar Upadhyay popularly known as Mihir Virani was the one to receive least votes.

While last season’s winner Shweta Tiwari too was a female telly star, this year too Juhi Parmar who achieved great popularity because of her telly show ‘Kum Kum’ took away the trophy along with the prize money.

 

Deepika Padukone wants media to leave sister alone

 Deepika is a big star in Bollywood, with understandable media frenzy around her. But Deepika Padukone wants the press to leave her younger sister Anisha, a talented golfer, alone.

“Anisha is doing very well (in golf). She is very young and wants to concentrate on her game,” says Deepika, adding that a few days ago, Anisha was teeing off at a golf course in Noida. Ask Deepika if Anisha likes the media attention, and she smiles and says, “Not really, and I hope media leaves her alone. If people go for interviews or interactions with her, she gets very frazzled and sometimes complains to me, didi (sister), I can’t concentrate on my game.’”

According to Deepika, Anisha is a very quiet and reserved person. “I think that’s why golf suits her because you need a lot of inner silence to concentrate on that game. And that’s why she is so media shy. She will learn things on her own, but for the time being, she should concentrate on her game,” she says.

 Suriya and Sameera Reddy were spotted at the launch of Venkat Ram's calendar launch. Suriya looked casual yet elegant and Sameera wass looking fab in a Shane and Falguni Peacock dress.

The Vaaranam Aayiram costars were happy to catch up and were chatting away merrily. Sameera said it was great to see Suriya and she said that it was a fun event which everybody enjoyed.

Bigg Boss 5: Day 89

Day 89: As the day begins, the track ‘Loose control’ gives a hint to each contestant of living their best in this last week of the show. As the day begins, starts Sidharth’s and Amar’s picking on Sky. The two again fool Sky by a fake secret task. As the scene shifts, we see Mahek bitching about Amar to Sidharth and called him spineless while reiterating the fact that he is just too desperate to win the show. In the afternoon, Amar is seen bitching to Sky about Sidharth. The two talk about how Sidharth is way too aggressive and childish in his behavior. The two get talking about how much he has lied on the show. Amar tells Sky that he regrets backing Sidharth. Looking at the two men talking, Sidharth tells Juhi and Mahek that the ‘Jai and Veeru’ bonding is back in action. Once Amar comes back into the room, Sidharth asks Amar if he has gone and spoken any of their discussions to Sky. Amar immediately retaliates listening to this and says he was not sitting with Sky to talk about others. Mahek tells him that he has played double-faced earlier and hence this doubt now. The trio ends up having an argument over the same. During the day, Mahek gets to watch the video of her talking about her niece to Juhi. Mahek breaks down after watching the video and immediately the entire house is with her to console her. As the day progresses, Sunny tells Juhi that Sidharth has not completed his part of house cleaning which stops her from finishing her work. Juhi takes this up with Sidharth and soon the entire house is seen rolling into it. Mahek and Juhi have an argument and Sky has an argument with Sidharth over the issue. Soon Mahek takes Sidharth to the pink room and calms him down, but when Sidharth comes out, he sees Sunny and Sky doing his part of the house cleaning. This irritates him all the more but he makes sure that since he hasn’t done his work, he compensates by cooking dinner. In the evening, Sidharth is seen going up to Juhi and patching up with her. The two hug and apologize to each other and forget all their differences. After the patch up, Juhi is seen discussing it with Amar over dishwashing saying she does not understand Sidharth. Amar said it was all nothing but an emotional ride for Sidharth in which he came up to Juhi and patched up with her. As the day ends, Sky and gang are seen sitting in the garden area and discussing about the evening drama. Juhi tells Sky that she is happy being with him as he is such a clean-hearted man. The two also discuss about how Sidharth is good only from a distance. Juhi tells Sky that incase anything pops up in the future with Sidharth, she will just put Sky on the front to sort it out with him.

It may not be very rock and roll but Muse singer Matt Bellamy looked right at home this festive season on the celebrity packed slopes in Aspen.

It was a family holiday for the 33-year-old rocker who hit the slopes with fiancee Kate Hudson and her son Ryder.

Kate, 33, looked chic and festive in her all in red ski suit while singer Matt looked equally ready for the ski season in a his black outfit.

The Bride Wars actress even helped seven-year-old son Ryder onto a ski lift as the youngster got ready to hit the slopes.

The couple aren't alone in the Colorado resort as Kate's mother Goldie Hawn was also spotted with fellow A-lister Melanie Griffith strolling around town. 

Melanie was seen today laughing on Buttermilk mountain as her husband Antonio Banderas took to the slopes to show off his ski skill set.

And model Heidi Klum and singer Seal showed off their love for each other yesterday by cuddling up close on the slopes in Aspen.

The loved-up couple lounged in the snow as they cheered on their children who showed off their ski skills on Buttermilk Mountain.

And Jack Nicholson was also spotted in Aspen with his daughter Lorraine.

The Hilton sisters, Paris and Nicky, are also in the town, delighting shoppers in their colorful outfits.

Bipasha Basu is not looking back with regret or nostalgia. She's looking forward to 2012, what with her birthday (on January 7) and her latest film, and of course, December 31, when she's going to have that "one day when I can let my hair down."

So, no New Year's Eve performance like previous years? "No," says Bips, "Also, no regrets this year. But then, I don't like to look back. But what I remember is that this year has gone by very fast, I have travelled a lot, I have made too many friends, it's getting difficult to spend time with them all. I had a lot of fun this year. I have laughed a lot... Yes, 2011 has been amazing for me." She's also ended a longstanding relationship... Slightly curt, she says, "The relationship was gone way back before that - it's been more than a year now. There's no point in discussing it. Right now, it's just hard work for me."

While Aishwarya Rai has been talk of the town, celebrity sites aren't overlooking the Bollywood babe's style. Style Bistro added her to their list of female celebs who wore it well in 2011. For Aishwarya, it was her off-white one-shouldered Elie Saab Spring gown that she wore beautifully on the red carpet at 2011 Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony. Aishwarya Rai will very likely continue to be a style icon and among the most beautiful women in the world heading into 2012. Deepika Padukone’s ex boyfriends catch up... with each other

 

  Recently, at a film award function Sidhartha Mallya was seen bonding with Dippy's ex Ranbir. And now, cricketer Yuvraj Singh and the actress' first love Nihar Pandya were seen having a ball at the christmas party at Yuvraj's Bandra residence on Sunday night.

A source informed Mumbai Mirror, "Yuvraj loves to party. So on Sunday night he threw a christmas bash on the terrace of his Bandra home. While a lot of tinsel townies were present at the party, including Ranvijay Singh, Prashant Chaddha, Sophie Chowdhury, Neha Dhupia and Arpita Khan, Nihar Pandya was definitely one of the most surprising entries."

"Deepika moved on to date Yuvraj Singh after she broke up with Nihar. So his presence did manage to raise a few eyebrows," added the source.

According to another source from the party, Nihar and Yuvraj have become friends only recently. In fact, none of them talk about Deepika. "Nihar is busy with his debut film based on his love story with Deepika. Prashant Chaddha, who launched Deepika in a music album will be directing the venture," added the source.

Bigg Boss 5: 601-pound Japanese Sumo to enter house

 

 

If Bigg Boss 5′s multiple entries have surprised you time and again, this time round you’re sure to be flabbergasted beyond words. Proving to the audiences that Bigg Boss 5 can never get predictable, the show will witness the grand entry of 601-pound Japanese Sumo Wrestling Champion Yamamotoyama aka Yama in the final week of the show. Given his weight and clocking in at a height of 6’4″, Yama is not only the largest Sumo wrestler ever, but he is actually the largest Japanese human ever as well.

After having been cooped up inside the house for weeks, the contestants will definitely breathe a sigh of relief upon seeing a new face. However, this relief will be shortlived, especially when they realize that the newest entrant has one major drawback – he doesn’t speak or understand English! The multiple-title winning sumo wrestler will spend a few days in the house and bring some much-needed comic relief to the currently temperamental housemates. To accommodate the needs of Yama during his stay in the Bigg Boss house, special arrangements have been made inside the house for him.

The dining area will be converted into a bedroom-cum-eating area for the sumo wrestler to give him the enough space for carrying out his day-to-day activities. Being of Japanese origin, Yama is used to eating while being seated on the floor, but it will be interesting to note if the housemates will be able to accompany him while he eats his fill. Also, because the sumo wrestler faces a language barrier, he will be given special placards with pictoral representations that will help him to communicate his needs to the housemates. And finally, to ensure that Yama remains entertained, special activities have been planned during his stay in the house that will help audiences to get some special insights into the life of a professional Japanese sumo wrestler.

In April 2011 he was told to retire by the Japan Sumo Association after he and several other wrestlers were found to be involved in match-fixing.

Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao welcome baby boy

 

Actor Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao have been blessed with a baby boy through surrogate.

"It gives us the greatest joy to share with you the good news of the birth of our baby boy. This baby is especially dear to usbecause he was born to us after a long wait and some difficulty. Due to medical complications, we were advised to have a baby through IVF - surrogacy, and we feel very grateful to the Almighty that all has gone well.

'

"We are humbled by the greatness of God, the miracles of science, and the kindness and love of our families and friends in being there for us while respecting our privacy. We seek your good wishes and blessings for our child," Aamir and Kiran said in a statement.

Aamir already has a daughter and son from his previous marriage to Reena Dutta, whom he divorced after being together for 15 years.

The 46-year-old actor met Kiran on the sets of his 2001 hit 'Lagaan' and married her after three years. The couple had earlier tried having a baby but Kiran suffered a miscarriage.

"Congrats Aamir and Kiran. Lots of love to you and your little baby boy. So so happy for all 3 of you (sic)," director Kunal Kohli tweeted. 

 Bipasha won't dance with Vivek

 Beedi Jalaile in Vishal Bhardwaj's Omkara gave Bipasha Basu the much needed career boost. However, looks like Bips is in no mood to recreate the moves, especially with her Omkara co-star Vivek Oberoi.

 The actress has apparently refused to do an item number with the actor in his film Zilla Gaziabad, something that has taken him by complete surprise.

Says a source, "Bipasha was approached to do an item number with Vivek and Sanjay Dutt in Zilla Ghaziabad, but she refused. Vivek was wondering what happened, but did not bother to investigate further."

However, this decision seems to have cost her. Bips was in the running to play the lead role opposite the actor in his next."

Adds the source, "Vivek thought, if she doesn't even want to be seen opposite him in an item number, how is she ever going to be able to work with him on an entire film. Hence the producers felt it would be better to let her go."

Interestingly, both Vivek and Bipasha worked together when they were newcomers, in an ad that neither wants to mention anymore. The very controversial New York Lotto TV commercial starring the two leaked online in 2010.

The ad featured Bips topless and her then spokesperson's clarified that the old commercial was meant for the international market only.

Says the source, "Ever since that episode, they have been pretty uncomfortable with each other, and that could be why she refused to dance with him." Bipasha Basu was unavailable for comment.

Bachchans reject Rs 5 cr for Baby B picture

  Buzz is that two premier international magazines have approached the Bachchan family with Rs 5 crore in return of exclusive pictures of Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's baby, born on November 16. This comes four years after international magazines offered the star couple a good number of crores to share their wedding photographs.

Not surprisingly pa-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan maintains that he'll never sell his grand-daughter's pictures to any media organisation. From the time Aishwarya was admitted to hospital, a section of the media had been trying to pull strings to acquire  exclusive pictures of the baby girl.

However, when the mother and the baby were discharged from the hospital, no one had been able to get any pictures of the newborn child. And naturally, that has boosted the curiosity among celebrity watchers.

"More so as she's been described by her grandfather as a baby with an 'angelic face' and light-hued, beautiful eyes, just like her actress-mother, Aishwarya. Not to forget the morphed photographs of Aishwarya and her baby floating around on the Internet," points out a source. However, the family has decided not to release any photographs, citing 'personal reasons'.

Also, upset by the circulation of morphed pictures of Aishwarya and her daughter on the web, the Bachchan family reportedly traced the original picture that had been photoshopped. As Big B himself tweeted recently, "To those that clamour for the baby's picture, I have said it before, it will not be happening.  Do understand, it's personal." 

 

 Hrithik to co-direct Krrish sequel

 The Krrish sequel will not only see Hrithik Roshan playing more than one role on screen, but also a special role behind the camera. The actor who had started off his career in Bollywood assisting his father, Rakesh Roshan with films like Koyla and Karan Arjun, will be turning associate director with the next Filmkraft venture. Director Rakesh Roshan confirmed the news and added, "Hrithik always helps me out whenever we work together."

Hrithik Roshan, who will not be a part of the first schedule of his ambitious home production Krrish 3, has decided not to sit at home. Along with his father Rakesh Roshan, the actor has decided to help with the direction.

On the sets of the film that started rolling on December 1 at Filmistan Studios, Hrithik has been calling the shots and taking creative decisions alongside papa Roshan.

After the first schedule of Krrish 3 with Vivek Oberoi, Kangna Ranaut and Priyanka Chopra is over, Hrithik will join the cast in front of the camera as well. The actor, who has been suffering from back problems, is fast recovering. Roshans have flown down a physiotherapist and a lady nutritionist from abroad for the same.

Bollywood mourns Dev Anand's death

 Dev Anand who celebrated his birthday two months ago on September 26 passed away on Saturday night following a cardiac arrest. Shocked by his demise, Bollywood fraternity post their condolences on Twitter....

 Hollywood remake for Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots

After its blockbuster success in India, Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots is all set to get a Hollywood remake.

"We are in talks with 3 studios in Hollywood and one company in Italy for the remake of 3 Idiots," Vidhu Vinod Chopra told PTI on the sidelines of the ongoing International film festival of India (IFFI).

And that's not it. The film, which released in India in December 2009, is all set to explore other markets. It is releasing in Mainland China with a whopping 900 prints next week.

"Its a first for any Hindi film to release with so many prints in China. It is also being adapted into a stage musical in Taiwan. The film has already made 2-3 million dollars in Hong Kong," said Chopra.

The film is also getting a Chinese remake.

"The director of Kung Fu Hustle Stephen Chow is also remaking it in Chinese. My films are made with universal values so they connect with audience all over the world. I am hoping my next Ferrari Ki Sawari also tastes the same success."



 Bipasha Basu to do item number?

 

 

                           If all goes well, Bipasha Basu might soon be putting on her dancing shoes for a full-fledged item number. Interestingly, the actor has never done one before. And if the current buzz is anything to go by, she is apparently the top choice for a special track featuring Sanjay Dutt, for Anand Kumar's Zilla Ghaziabad..

“The makers are trying to rope Bipasha in. The discussions are in the final stages. Since the film is set in a rustic milieu, she will be required to don a similar avatar. If things work out as planned, she might revisit her Beedi Jalaile… and Namak Isq ka… days,” informs a film unit member. When contacted, producer Vinod Bachchan says: “Yes, Bipasha might do the song, but we are yet to lock all the details.”

However, Sanjay Dutt’s business manager Dharam Oberoi insists nothing is finalised yet: “We’ll take a final call in a week’s time. By then, the picture will be clear. It’s too early to comment right now.”

Bipasha Basu has never done an item number for a film, where she isn’t the leading actor. But she has had her fair share of chartbuster tracks such as Mehbooba… (Ajnabee), Beedi Jalaile… (Omkara), No Entry… (No Entry) and Lucky Boy… (Bachna Ae Haseeno).

Fashionista Jennifer Lopez didn't go shopping on Black Friday. Instead, she feasted her eyes on Casper Smart, her 24-year-old dancer beau of just a few weeks, who doffed his top during a sexy Thanksgiving vacation in Kauai, Hawaii.

New photos from Friday reveal Lopez, 42, sipping a tropical cocktail and lounging in her bikini in a cabana alongside her topless, muscular new man. Lopez, Smart and her 3-year-old twins Max and Emme spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Hawaii.

"Casper was great with the kids," a source told Us. During a Thursday outing on the beach, Smart (who's performed with Lopez onstage numerous times) "was twirling them around and doing flips with Emme and she seemed very comfortable with him."

Two Sundays ago -- following a hot performance at the American Music Awards -- the new couple packed on the PDA at a post-AMAs bash in L.A.

No word yet on whether Lopez and Smart are exclusive. In early November, Lopez hooked up with ex Marc Anthony (they split in July after seven years of marriage) in Puerto Rico.


Saif-Kareena  to...get married or walk the aisle or whatever in March...

  Saif Ali Khan's sister Soha has confirmed that the wedding between Bollywood's hottest couple Kareena Kapoor and Saif, will take place immediately after the release of Khan's home-production Agent Vinod.

"The date hasn't been finalised. Bhai says after Agent Vinod releases, they will finalise the date and share it with everyone," said the ecstatic sister. "Tentatively, it is March, since the release of Agent Vinod has been planned for February 2012. It will be soon after that," she added. 

Soha said she's isn't quite sure why the couple would want to wait till the release of Agent Vinod. But we learnt from reliable sources that Khan is making the release of his home-production priority. 

"Saif and Kareena had decided that they would marry in early 2012. After Nawab Pataudi's death, the family was in two minds about postponing the date. However, both the families decided that the wedding should happen sooner instead of later," a source revealed.

Is Lindsay Lohan headed for Big Brother house?

Speculation is mounting that Lindsay Lohan could be among those taking part in Celebrity Big Brother when the show returns to Channel Five in January.

According to the Sunday Mirror the troubled actress is considering a deal to enter the house - provided she is allowed to leave the US under the terms of her current community service sentence.

She still has a month of the sentence - which has seen her working at a morgue in California - to complete, and last month was sent to jail after violating the terms of a probation order imposed upon her in 2007.

However the paper reports that show producers are keen to argue that an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother would help her get her life back on track.

"Lindsay would be an absolutely amazing signing for us," a source said.

"She's a Hollywood A-Lister and everybody knows all about the trouble she's been in.

"She's a fiery character too, so there's sure to be some major clashes with other celebs if we get her in the house."

The insider added that show producers were doing "everything possible" to secure her services.

"We want this to be the best Big Brother ever," the source said, "so we hope that the courts will make a special allowance in this case."

Natalie Cassidy, Natasha Giggs and Denise Welch are among the other names who have been tipped to appear in the series.

Katrina Kaif says she won't overshadow Priyanka in Agneepath

 Actress Katrina Kaif has been in news for her item song 'Chikni Chameli' in the movie Agneepath ever since Karan Johar officially announced her name on his Twitter page. So it was rumoured that she will overshadow actress Priyanka Chopra, who is playing the female lead in the film. But Kat has slammed the rumours.

Katrina Kaif says that Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt are all happy over her roping in for the track 'Chikni Chameli'. The Bollywood actress adds that there is no competition between her and Priyanka in the film Agneepath and she will not overshadow PC in it.

However, Katrina Kaif has shot for the item song 'Chikni Chameli' for 10 days at Film City in Goregaon and she has completed the filming on Wednesday. Karan's Dharma Productions has unveiled her first look in the item number on Wednesday night. Now, Kat hopes that her new item number becomes bigger than the previous item songs like 'Munni Badnaam Hui', 'Sheila ki Jawani' and 'Chammak Challo'.

The ‘Dabangg’ star is keen to venture into the food industry by opening a restaurant.


Apparently his very close friend fashion designer Ashley Rebello, happens to be a great cook and he often cooks for Salman. So, now the two are thinking of coming up with a restaurant of their own, which will serve and specialize in East Indian food.

As reported by a daily, a source revealed, "Salman really enjoys Ashley`s culinary skills. He`s been asking the designer to open his own restaurant. In the past Ashley laughed it off, but Salman has taken matters into his hands and is brainstorming with Ashley about the decor and menu."

The restaurant won`t be restricted to traditional Malvani food but will offer quiet a variety for everyone. The source added, "A team of experts will work along with them on this."

When contacted, Ashley confirms, "Yes, we are planning a restaurant together, but it`s too early to say more."
